You climb into a car on a roller coaster. Your palms sweat as the train inches up a steep hill. Finally, it reaches the top. Then—whoosh! You scream in excitement as the train rockets down the track.
Anya Tyler is one of the people you can thank for these heart-pounding moments. She’s been designing roller coasters for more than 10 years. She also helps design trampoline parks and climbing walls for a company called Peak Thrills Engineering. Tyler recently spoke with Scholastic News about her exciting job.
