Big Dog, Little Dog

These two pups are proof that opposites attract. Reggie is the world’s tallest dog. The Great Dane stands 3 feet 3 inches tall and can easily rest his head on a kitchen counter. Pearl, a Chihuahua, holds the world record for shortest dog. At just over 3.6 inches tall, she’s about half the size of a pencil.

In April, the unusual pair of pooches met for a playdate at Reggie’s home in Idaho. They hit it off right away and ended up cuddling on the big dog’s couch.

“I think they’re just more alike than they are different,” Reggie’s owner, Sam Johnson Reiss, told Guinness World Records.
