LEGO Car on the Go
Have you ever wished your favorite toy cars were big enough to drive? Well then, check out this life-sized version of the LEGO® Technic McLaren P1 set. Twenty-three experts from the LEGO Group and the car company McLaren Automotive spent more than 8,300 hours designing and building it.
The race car is made of 342,817 LEGO pieces, including 768 tiny motors. It’s much lighter than a real McLaren P1 sports car, but it’s still sturdy enough to drive. In September, British race car driver Lando Norris took it for a spin around a racetrack in England. He reached 40 miles per hour!
