On October 2, the city of Tarragona, Spain, held its 28th human tower competition. Teams competed to form the tallest castell, or human tower—a feat that requires incredible strength, balance, and teamwork.
Team members stand on each other’s shoulders to add levels to the tower. A tower is complete when the last member of a team, usually a child, stands at the top and raises an arm.
