You don’t need to go to Sesame Street to find Cookie Monster. When split in half, this rock looks just like the famous blue Muppet. It’s a type of gemstone called an agate. These rocks often have different colors that create unusual patterns. 

This one-of-a-kind agate was found last November in Brazil, a country in South America. In January, its owner posted a video online that quickly went viral. Even Cookie Monster himself noticed the resemblance. He tweeted: “Me no geologist, but me think dat rock look a lot like me . . .”
